Are you interested in helping your community and keeping people safe? Our Criminal Justice with Basic Police Academy degree program prepares you for an entry-level police job, taking you from the classroom to patrol with criminal justice classes and a state-approved police academy.
You will take academic courses first to learn about criminal justice principles, ethics and laws before training at our hands-on police academy.

Criminal Justice faculty
Our program is taught by current or retired criminal justice professionals, who will share from their experiences as they teach you about:
- Criminal law, procedures and investigations
- Police work and crisis intervention
- Crime scene management and evidence collection
- Ethical decision-making in law enforcement, and more
You’ll take your training straight from the classroom to the academy. And, you’ll have the option to get real-world practice through our Criminal Justice program.
