Grant Supported Job Training Assistance
ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï actively pursues state and federal grants and other collaborations that allow it to enhance its programs and provide free or low-cost training and educational opportunities to businesses and individuals.
The following are the currently funded training and educational programs Macomb has partnered in with state and federal agencies and other educational providers and organizations.
Career Pathways to Health Care Through an Apprenticeship Model
Funding Source: United States Department of Education – Congressionally Directed Grant ($2.6 million since 2022).
Purpose: The project seeks to develop a pipeline of talent into entry level health care careers to address the immediate need for workers in allied health. Develop work-based apprenticeship opportunities that allow students to earn while they learn and develop career pathways that allow student to increase their level of educational attainment and advance in the health care industry sector.

- Health care employers seeking a pipeline of qualified job candidates.
- Students through curriculum and educational pathways that lead to good-paying careers in health care and the ability to learn while they earn a paycheck as an apprentice.
