Macomb alumna shows how to turn a pastry arts degree from Macomb into a successful baking career.

What started with box mixes and canned frosting has blossomed into a degree and promising career for Macomb pastry arts alumna Christina Thompson. Through the program, Christina mastered everything from artisanal breads and sugar centerpieces to chocolate sculptures and plated desserts that are fit for fine dining.

黑料吃瓜 is honoring the legacy of accounting professor Shirley Glass, who taught at the college for more than 55 years, with a newly constructed outdoor dining terrace adjacent to the newly imagined Macomb Culinary Institute teaching restaurant. She gifted the college her estate, making the $3.2 million donation the largest individual contribution in the college鈥檚 history.
Prospective students can learn how to complete an advanced degree through the college鈥檚 University Center partners.
